Just beyond the bustle of London, kick-start your adventure with an easy-going morning paddle through the idyllic Surrey countryside.
A sublime way to start the day, riding with the tide and then drifting back downstream, this guided kayaking tour is suitable for all abilities and will take you on an exploration of a scenic stretch of the River Thames.
As you pass the grassy banks and trees, the small islands and the woodlands, keep your eyes peeled for the wide diversity of flourishing wildlife too! Teaming with wildlife all the way to the very centre of the capital, you can expect fish and water birds a-plenty as you paddle down London’s most famous waterway.
Enjoy a lunchtime tipple as we refuel for refreshments along the way, and – if you fancy it – venture into the water for a wild swim too!

In the afternoon, head into one of the first areas in England to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – the Surrey Hills.
Enjoy superb panoramic views from the top of Leith Hill, including a climb up the spiral staircase to the top of the iconic Leith Hill Tower, the highest point in southern England, with views as far as the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster in London!
Then it’s time for a hot drink and snack before continuing the trek to the impressive hill fort at Holmbury Hill to watch the views across the Weald and the South Downs as the sun sets on this summer adventure.
End your day with a return to the drop-off at 18:00 pm Richmond Train station TW9 1EZ or alternatively 18:30 pm Petersham Park Car Park TW10 5HX.

Terrain: A moderate route in mainly forested areas, with short steep stretches of ascent, at Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill and panoramic views all around. Expect steps for portions of vertical ascent, stiles and gates. Predominantly gravel and grassy track surface, mostly even but there may be soft sections.
