Journey into the heart of the beautiful South Downs National Park, exploring how to use plants as natural medicines to detoxify and revitalise the body.
With her vast knowledge of medicinal plants, passion and enthusiasm, Sarah will teach you about the uses of healing herbs and flowers, along with the body’s anatomy and physiology, in an uncomplicated and easy-to-understand way, inspiring you with the confidence to identify and use plants and herbs as an alternative source for managing your health.
Learn how to identify medicinal herbs and summer flowers, and dry them to make simple herbal teas, tinctures and tonics, infused oils and salves of your very own to take home and use.
It’s then time to enjoy a picnic lunch at the summit of a much-loved South Downs treasure, the magnificent Butser hill!
Absorb the sunshine from this spectacular peak, delighting in the space and the air, and renewing your energy levels before continuing with an easy-paced ramble in the afternoon.
Connect with nature on this tranquil walk across unspoiled chalk meadows and downland, rich in the wildflowers of summer and surrounded by panoramic views of the Hampshire countryside stretching as far as the Isle of Wight.
And finally, for a beautiful end to this enchanting day, enjoy a special outdoor sunset yoga class.
Completely unwind and relax with a calming sequence, ending your day perfectly grounded and with peace of mind.
Ideal for beginners, sunset yoga will consist of breath work and immersive guided relaxation techniques to focus the mind, helping you slow down and connect with yourself and nature.
