Summer 2022 is ready to start and we’ve got a smorgasbord of outdoor adventure for you this season!

This year’s programme delivers in spades each and every weekend across the summer (yes that’s right, EVERY weekend with a different trip!)

Well, that’s the plan. So, here’s to a jam-packed summer full of new adventures.

What an inspirational weekend! The Outdoor Expo was a huge hit and I must say a big thankyou to everyone who came to share their enthusiasm and support at our little stall.

In total we collected 342 adventure ideas for next year’s tours – I’m absolutely speechless!

I am also beyond grateful to the GoTread ‘Baking Queens’ who battered, creamed and iced their way through 272 cupcakes for all our guests.

This year we’re opening the season on 1st May with a chocolate-filled extravaganza as we spend the day hiking in the New Forest followed by a masterclass with an award-winning chocolatier learning how to make chocolate truffles like the professionals!
Next up is our Surrey Hills kayak on 8th May, just beyond the bustle of London, we’ll be exploring a scenic stretch of the river Thames on a guided kayaking adventure and hiking through the idyllic Surrey countryside.
I am also thrilled this year with our first trip to Dartmoor National Park for a day steeped in mystery and legend as we explore the moorland landscape which inspired Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes story The Hound of the Baskervilles and indulge in a spot of Clay shooting too!

Our 14th May date is now fully booked, but don’t miss out – we’ve just added an additional date for later in the season too…
Our popular North Wessex Downs hikes are back on the menu on 22nd May, this time around we’ll battle superheroes and supervillains, the living and the dead and even encounter the supernatural in a paintballing battle to save the human race.

[Nothing quite like a heroic paintballing bash to get the adventure juices flowing, right?]
And finally, we end May with a spectacular Peak District Weekender.

If you’re looking to try more adventurous terrain, join us on 28th May for a day on the rocks, with a morning of abseiling and a Grade 1 scramble in the afternoon.

For everyone keen to learn how to confidently use a map and compass, then I recommend our Navigation skills and caverns trip the following day. In the morning we’ll be de-mystifying the art of navigation so that you can find your way in the great outdoors like a pro, followed by a guided boat tour through a 230-year-old lead mine!

If you fancy doing the full Peak District Weekender, and would like to camp overnight – don’t forget to drop us a message and we’ll provide details of where we are staying.

Check on DISCORD if you’re looking for a last-minute spot on any of the trips.

Remember you don’t need to use up your adventure cards for places that we release on DISCORD – you can come on as many trips as you fancy!

If you need any advice or have any questions, do drop us a line, we’re always happy to help😊

And finally, with festivals back in full force for 2022, I wanted to share some of our adventure favourites…
