Come and explore the famous rocky terrain of the Mendip Hills in our Mendip Rock Climbing and Hiking Tour.
If you’re experiencing rock climbing for the first time, this peaceful quarry in Mendip will get you hooked – no previous training is required!
After a few hours of rock climbing, walk, climb and scrabble along the rocky crags of Mendip, admiring the stunning views stretching across Somerset.
Enjoy the hike past the famous caves of Mendip including the Rock of Ages, Aveline’s Hole, and Goatchurch Cavern before stopping for lunch at Beacon Batch, the summit of the highest hill in Mendip.
In the afternoon head straight over to Chew Valley lake for a wonderful picnic with local cider and cave-matured cheese.
Then it’s off to a sun-set photo-shoot at one of the largest complexes of prehistoric standing stones in England, Stanton Drew.
