Your Guide: MelHi. I'm Mel! And I'm usually found in a field somewhere having a catch-up with the local cows. I'm always looking for new adventures and I love introducing people to new experiences. My motto is "the muddier, the better" and I'll give anything and everything a go at least once!
Cotswolds Kayaking Tour
TOUR DATE: SATURDAY 15th SEPTEMBER 2018
We’re surrounded by some of the best paddling rivers on the edge of the Cotswolds. The historic River Avon provides a great day trip and is an excellent introduction to kayaking.
Whether you are looking for beautiful scenery or physical challenge this kayaking tour provides an exhilarating experience. This all-day river trip is more than just a ‘guided tour’ – the instructors will provide coaching throughout the day to improve your technique and skills.
Enjoy a leisurely paddle along the beautiful meandering waterways of the River Avon. A rewarding experience from a unique vantage point and learn something new along the way.
Starting in the morning we’ll get everyone kitted up and the boats ready while taking a vehicle to the end of the river with dry clothes. After an introduction to paddling and some coaching, we set off down the river, enjoying the scenery and improving your kayaking skill. The trip finishes near a lovely pub on the river’s edge – an excellent opportunity to enjoy some of the local Somerset cider as the sun sets!
