Mel Guide

Your Guide: Mel

Hi. I'm Mel! And I'm usually found in a field somewhere having a catch-up with the local cows. I'm always looking for new adventures and I love introducing people to new experiences. My motto is "the muddier, the better" and I'll give anything and everything a go at least once!

Yes, it’s that time of year again!

The infamous GoTread End-Of-Season PARTY is happening a little earlier than usual – the August Bank Holiday weekend in fact!

We’re off to South Wales, for a whole weekend of caving adventures and partying at this year’s CaveFest.

CaveFest is the BIGGEST caving event of its kind in the country!

Founded by Neil Jackson and Jamie Larke, the festival provides the opportunity to explore some of our largest and most magnificent cave systems.

As well as caving, there’s also paragliding, lots of entertainment, and fantastic live music!

You’ll join hundreds at this wonderfully sociable event. Enjoy the legendary friendliness, humour and passion of the caving community.

The adventure continues all weekend, so we’ll be organising camping for those looking for an overnight stay.

Get ready to be amazed by the sheer size, and beauty of these underground kingdoms in a weekend of pure adventure.

We hope you can all make it – can’t wait to see you there!
